Last night, a few of us drove out to Burger Hill, here in the Rhinebeck area, hoofed it up a big long tall hill, and cast our amazed eyes over the beautiful view of the Hudson Valley and the Catskills in the distance. What started as a lovely sunny day ended with 30mph gusts of winds and a temperature drop of at least 5 degrees within 30 minutes (ok, I might be exaggerating a little, I dunno). Still, we held firm to our positions, a couple of the guys played guitar while we sort of sang along, looking out over the sunset.
It was really quite nice, even if a bit bitterly chilly/windy.
I think I'll visit Burger Hill again many times.
